Once you login to a Jibe world, you'll see a link at the bottom of the page for a Vivox download (if you've already installed it, it will not appear).
Download and install the Vivox plugin to use voice in Jibe.
Windows Vista Users READ THIS:
Many Windows Vista owners disable User Account Controls (UAC) in order to avoid annoying popups from the OS. Unfortunately, this causes the Vivox plugin installation to fail silently. If you think you might have UAC disabled, please temporarily re-enable UAC and re-install the Vivox plugin. Once the plugin is installed, you can re-disable UAC. Please
see this page
for instructions on re-enabling Vista UAC.
All users who have voice functionality available will show in the Online Users list in Yellow initially. When speaking, their names will appear in Green.
If the Vivox plugin is installed, a green icon appears in the System tray. On a Mac, this icon will appear at the top of the screen.
Right-click this icon to bring up the context menu to enable you to unmute your microphone and adjust your audio device settings.
For privacy reasons, your microphone is muted by default.
Remember to unmute it each time you enter the Jibe world!
